Here are the specific details about our gardening services and the billing terms.
Biweekly gardening visits will be $89.00 per visit, which is a 2-man crew for up to 30 minutes.
If more time is requested on any visit, the time over the budget will be prorated with the additional charges.
Please call ahead if you know we’ll be needing extra time to help with our scheduling.
If you talk with the crew, please keep it brief so the crew can get right to work.
Our time starts when we get out of the truck and ends when we get back into the truck.
Payments are made with a debit or charge card and will be charged after each visit. An emailed receipt will follow.
You can email us requests at [email protected] to add to the notes or call our office.
Typical notes for the crew:
– Mow and edge.
– Detail plants/bushes/shrubs as needed, keeping them separated, shaped, and weeded.
– Trim any low hanging branches off trees.
– Weeding. Weed Killers are included in this price and will only be used where applicable.
– Pick up leaf debris.
– Blow off walkways.
– Put debris in cans and leave extra bags by the cans.* If asked to haul away debris, there will be additional charges of $20/bag.
– Leave a note for the office with any issues.

All gardening work is charged at our standard man-hour rate of $89.00 per man, per hour.
We have a 1 hour minimum of $89.00 (2 men for 30 minutes or 1 man for one hour, etc.)
Whether we send a 1 man crew or a 2 man crew, the hourly rate is charged per man, per hour.
Here is a break down:
~ 1 man = $89.00 per hour
~ 2 men = $178.00 per hour ($89.00/hr x 2)
~ All clean up work is prorated to the minute after the first $89.00 is used.
More time can be scheduled if required.

Extra services we offer:
* If we are asked to haul away debris, there will be a $20/bag charge.
– Fertilizers and gopher treatments. We will let you know what is needed and costs for you to approve.
– Tree trimming appointments can be made with our Tree Supervisor, as requested, for anything over 9 feet tall.
– Irrigation services are charged at $135.00 for the first 30 minutes and then $135.00 per man-hour prorated plus material/parts used, when approved.
We highly recommend a Hydrawise irrigation wifi system so that you/we can monitor your system remotely. Our Irrigation Techs can install these.

You can cancel/delay your visit with a call to our office at 619-440-3762 or email to [email protected] with at least 1-2 business days’ notice.
If turned away at the property at any visit, there will be a $30 travel charge.
If we are delayed on your scheduled day of service, please call or expect us the following day and leave gates unlocked and dogs inside if necessary. We work most holidays, except Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year’s Day. Jobs will be shuffled and scheduled either before or after these holidays. Call with questions.
Your service date will be scheduled upon your acceptance and we have your payment information.

Yard Clean Up services;
Here are the specific details about your prorated clean up visits, as well as the billing terms:
Your biweekly visits will have a prorated budget of $178/visit, which is 2 man-hours or a 2-man crew for 1 hour. The final price will be prorated and will depend on the needs of the property.
This is an estimate only. You are basically reserving a block of time and our visits are prorated. Additional clean up time can be arranged, if needed, on any visit. Just ask if we have time or we can arrange another visit. Pro-rated visits are based on $89 per man/per hour, with the minimum charge being $89.
Our time starts when we get out of the truck and ends when we get back into the truck. Time spent at the property will prorate your price down to the minute.

Payments are made with a MC or Visa. We will only call you after your visit if your total is over your budgeted amount and leave you a voicemail if you’re not available, charge your card and email you a receipt.

Irrigation services;
Consultation/Irrigation Tech visits are priced at $135 for the first 30 minutes (the minimum charge), then prorated after the first 30 minutes at $135 per hour, plus materials.
We will look into your irrigation issues and fix them as we go. If it turns into a larger project, we will give you an estimated price for your approval.
If this visit is a consultation only and no work is done, the same fees apply. We will follow up with an emailed estimate, if work is needed.

Lawn Aerations;
We’ll provide lawn aeration services which includes the application of a granulated fertilizer for:
Aerations starting at $99 for most front OR back lawns of average size (up to 1000 sq. ft.)
The second lawn and/or each additional 1000 sq. ft., when done at the same time is an additional $40:
0-1000sf (not front and back combined, only front OR back) = $99
0-2000 sf = $139 (99+40) Most front AND back yards
0-3000 sf = $179 (99+40+40)
0-4000 sf = $219 (99+40+40+40)
Lawn aeration is the process of mechanically removing soil plugs and small portions of thatch from the lawn. The mechanical removal of soil plugs is generally recognized as the best way to improve air exchange, along with water and fertilizer intake. Lawn aeration relieves soil compaction and improves the ability of roots to grow deeper into the soil and expand.

First, we turn on the sprinklers and mark where the sprinklers are located so we don’t run them over with the aerator machine.
***Note: All underground sprinkler pipes should be at least 6 inches deep. The aerator will only go down a maximum of 3 inches. If your sprinkler pipes were not installed correctly and we break an underground pipe, we are not responsible for the cost of the repair (damage rarely happens because most pipes are installed deep enough), but we like to state the facts so there are no surprises.

Second, we run the aerator machine over the grass. The plugs of grass that are pushed out will stay on top of the grass to naturally break apart and decompose back into the soil to benefit from the microorganisms and such. A manual hand held tool will poke where the machine can’t reach.

Third, we fertilize and blow off.

Lastly, we turn back on the sprinklers to briefly water over the fertilizer. It will gradually dissolve over a few waterings.
